Superfood. Good service. Super Service. Nice owner, takes care of the guests. You have to bring a little waiting time, but in good company and nice conversations can be bridged. We want to enjoy and not be processed. Everything great. Are often there.

In a nutshell: highly recommended! Today we used the "Enjoy the woodpecker at home" campaign, ordered food and enjoyed it at home. The portion sizes are more than sufficient, so that in the end everyone was fed up. The taste was also great, everything was fresh and very tasty. So delicious that we cannot recommend an exact dish, because everyone was absolutely satisfied with their choice. In addition to the main dishes, it is definitely recommended to take a look at the dessert!

Today we were with 4 people for dinner at the Specht inn. Roast goose and wild boar were excellent! Plentiful side dishes and flexibility regarding our special requests made the meal a very positive experience. The service was very good and the friendly conversation with the nice senior boss rounded off the evening. We will definitely come back, even if we have to drive 600 km. :-)

My grandparents already celebrated their parties here. The food is still delicious and the cocoa powder woodpecker on the dessert reminds me of my childhood. Recommendable. The room was comfortable and clean too.

It is a bit more expensive, but you get a delicious meal. Wild you do not eat every day. Nice big rooms, where you can celebrate well. Then a big terrace for the summer. The deer can also be seen in an enclosure next door, which is great for kids.

Typical German country inn with a long tradition. The asparagus with all the side dishes was excellent. Desserts and pies / cakes are also very tasty. The service is friendly and attentive. If you want to eat German cuisine in a traditional atmosphere, you've come to the right place. A star deduction, because unfortunately the main entrance was full of cobwebs when we visited. Inside there is nothing wrong with the cleanliness.

Traditional German food, the food itself is high quality but the choice is very limited (to put it kindly) if you are vegetarian. That's not unusual in more.... rural areas, still a big minus.
